To make our country a more prominent power we need to focus on the subject of mathematics. Being able to learn about the financial aspect of the money that is being circulated around the globe would give us not only more power, but also more knowledge of the subject.
While I think Vanessa has a good point, I believe students and teachers in America should focus more on writing. Writing can be used in every subject. In todays world, writing skills are imperative for intelligent communication. Without the ability to intelligently portray thoughts and ideas an individuals credibility declines. We need better communicators and this can be done by perfecting writing skills.
Science, mathematics and lanuage learning are vital components to creating strong citizens who will be ready to to help the U.S. suceed as a world power.
